James Harvey James Harvey received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of New Mexico and his Master of Music degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In New Mexico, James was one of the founders of the New Mexico Intuitive Ensemble, a group dedicated to performing exclusively new and improvised music. He was a member of the Abraham Franck String Quartet and also performed with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Santa Fe Symphony, and Roswell Symphony. In 1998 and 1999 he attended the Brevard Music Festival as a teaching assistant. James is currently a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and performs as concertmaster for Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel/Casino.
